The children are invited to present one of their Christmas Gifts at the offertory of the Family Mass at 10am on Christmas Day. It would be helpful if the gifts carry a label indicating the age for which the gift would be suitable. These gifts will then be taken as in previous years to the orphanages of Eastern Europe under the supervision of Hugh Ferguson and his colleagues at Clann Sona. Parents can also participate by making up a parcel of new or good-as-new clothing to add to their children’s gifts. These too will be quickly delivered to needy families and with the approach of winter will be very welcome.
